ebeattie asked:
What camera(s) Do you shoot with and what is your favourite/most popularily used lens(es)? Hopefully its not too vague of a question, but Id love to hear about what you shoot with and what your favourite equipment to work with is.
Hey there, not vague at all. I shoot with a Contax 645 and I absolutely love it. I do own a Nikon D700 but I hardly touch the thing. As for lenses, I only have the 80mm for the Contax system so far. Hoping to get the wider 45mm/55mm soon when I have some fund$$$$$$. Someone sponsor me.
The Ghetto Stereo Project
I just put together a gallery of animated stereoscopic images I shot at Phoot Camp earlier in the year. You can view the rest of them here: Ghetto Stereo Gallery
I used two disposable cameras, taped together and manually triggered at the same time to create my own “Ghetto” stereo camera. I read about doing it here on Photojojo.
This is one of my favourite shots from the set. It’s Daniel S. Lee, being awarded with the cow skull we had on the front of the LARV on our road trip.
Follow the Phoot Camp blog on Tumblr to see everyone’s work.

Awesome! Ohhhhh 3D Phoot memories…. it’s like I can almost touch it.

I talked about how I thought my Fuji 645 was broken but it is alive and well! I failed to mention why I thought it was broken. On the last day of the Sequoia camping trip, we stopped by a river to cool down and it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in a really long time. I naturally had to bring my camera along even if it meant risking dunking my camera into the water which is exactly what happened. The large rocks in the river were dangerously slippery and I definitely slipped a numerous amount of times. Thankfully, I didn’t dunk the whole camera though. I immediately took out the batteries and didn’t touch the camera for weeks hoping it would dry out. A few weeks ago I thought I put in new-ish batteries but only the screen would turn on and nothing else would work. I definitely thought it was broken but I thought I’d try getting new batteries just in case and behold, it worked! I am definitely very happy about it because I love this camera.
