Your photos are great. Do you use strobes of any kind?
Most of my work is naturally lit but it really matters on what project I’m working on. Naturally lit can also mean there are reflectors and silks involved. Again, it all matters on the situation at hand. But to answer your question— yes, when it is needed to create the shot that I want.
I like questions. (But I don’t always have the answers).
How often do you use professional lighting equipment? I'm just beginning to get in to photography more seriously and I like the idea of using as little gear as possible.
Most of my stuff is naturally lit. If I’m shooting a job or something, I’ll bring lights but that doesn’t always mean I’ll use them necessarily. I use whatever will get the job done the best— sometimes it’s just the sun with some fill, other times it may be a large set up.
Tyler William Parker and I did some lighting tests today for tomorrow’s shoot…….arts & crafts style.
Toby helped too.
